Welcome to Bedford Crew!

The Bedford Crew program was founded in 2010 and is based in Bedford, NH.  Previously based in the Amoskeag Rowing Club boathouse, we now row out of our new dock site in Hooksett, N.H., just north of Hooksett Self Storage on a beautiful stretch of the Merrimack River.  We usually have 80 - 90 rowers each spring and fall season with many of those choosing to participate in our winter training program.

Lurgio Learn to Row

The Bedford Crew program has partnered with the Amoskeag Rowing Club(ARC) to offer a Learn-To-Row Program this fall. This is a great way for middle school students to learn about the sport and develop some proficiency if they are interested in crew in high school.

  • This program is open to 7th and 8th Graders

  • This program will start late next week or early the week of Sep 23rd and run through Nov 1st. Exact start date TBD based on enrollment.

  • Practices will run Monday through Friday 3:45-6:00pm. You can attend as many (or few) of these sessions as you wish.

  • There is a flat fee of $450 for the program

  • Participation in the end of season Skeleton Regatta at the ARC boathouse is included (plus potential participation in other regattas during the season depending upon preparedness)

  • Participants will also be invited to row at the Bedford Crew rowing site, Bulldog Landing, during the season.

  • Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from ARC and Bulldog Landing.

  • Please use the following link to sign-up: Lurgio LTR Registration
