Interested in rowing?
We offer an introductory Learn to Row program to Lurgio Middle School students when staffing allows. The program typically runs after school on Fridays during the fall season (August, September and October). Information about any upcoming sessions will be posted here (see below).

Lurgio Learn to Row Fall 2025

We’re excited to announce that our popular Lurgio Learn to Row program will be offered again this fall at Bulldog Landing! This is a great opportunity for students to learn the fundamentals of rowing, teamwork, and water safety in a fun and supportive environment.
Program Dates:
August 27 – September 30

Notes:
The first session (after the mandatory swim test on Monday August 18)
is Wednesday August 27 at BHS from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.
​
There is no class Friday August 29.
​
The practice schedule resumes Tuesday September 2
at Bulldog Landing.
​
Practice Schedule:
Tuesdays & Fridays: 3:45 PM – 5:30 PM
Select Saturday Mornings (schedule to be announced)
Cost: $250
Required Pre-Season Activities:
To ensure a safe and successful start to the season, the following pre-season activities are mandatory for all participants:

Monday August 18th
5:30 pm - Mandatory Safety Video - BHS Theater
6:30 pm - Mandatory Swim Test - the Bluffs
